Mushie’s Story

In 2023, 5 year-old French bulldog “Mushie” was dumped in Palmdale by a breeder after years of having litters. Exhausted and defeated, Mushie’s future seemed uncertain. But in April of that year, Mushie’s entire life would change for the better.

In April of the same year, my partner Chris and I (Gabriella) rescued Mushie and vowed to give her the life she always deserved. Having seemingly never had a bed or played with a toy, we watched her be a careless dog for the first time, learning how to go on walks, play with toys, and finally be able to trust people. Mushie was finally home.

Our journey together came to an abrupt halt in September of 2024 when Mushie was lost by a dog sitter less than 15 minutes after we had dropped her off in North Hollywood. We have now been searching for over eight months, utilizing every common and uncommon tactic we can think of. From flyers and online social media posts, to psychics and a bloodhound, my partner and I have gone to extreme lengths to find our beloved rescue dog and we are not giving up.

YOU have the power to help bring Mushie home! With the assistance of supportive members of the community like you, we will spread the word about Mushie and finally bring her back home where she belongs.

Mushie is a very unique dog. Because we rescued her after years of having litters, Mushie has noticeably large nipples. However, she is spayed and can no longer have puppies. Mushie is a roughly 7-year-old, female French bulldog with black fur and a white patch that starts under her chin and goes down her chest all the way to her belly. Mushie has brindle highlights in her black fur, brown eyes, a very short tail, and perky ears that usually stay pointed upwards.

Please take note of her identifiers and contact us if you see any dogs matching her description. The more information the better!
